DESCRIPTION

The 250 Series is a high performance transmission system capable of carrying simultaneous unidirectional or bi-directional broadcast quality analog video, audio, and/or data transmissions over singlemode or multimode fiber.

The standard single channel model (250) is capable of carrying one broadcast quality analog video, four audio channels (two stereo pairs), and one serial data (RS-232/RS-422) channel. The two channel model (252) is capable of carrying two broadcast quality analog video channels, eight audio channels, and two data streams (RS-232/RS-422). The video quality in the 250 system meets 250C short haul specifications, while the audio specifications exceed professional standards. The 250 requires no user adjustments, thus enabling a quick and easy setup, offering trouble-free operation.

The 250 comes in a rugged, standalone version available in a compact unit. Panel connectors are provided for video (BNC), audio (terminal block), data (DB-9), and fiber connections (FC-type for singlemode fiber or ST-type for multimode fiber). They are also easily monitored by separate LED indicators for power, optical link, and channel activity.

Due to its digital transmission design, the 250 is capable of addressing a variety of non-standard configurations, available upon request.
